The North Set Residency occurred March - May 2017. It was a juried pop-up residency that granted three visual artists free studio space with stipend for 7 weeks. The program provided structure and support, empowering them to reach optimal productivity in the studio, a network of mentors and a platform to present their work.
Artists in residence were given a private studio free of charge and a $500 stipend to be used at their discretion during their two months. A jury of local curators and one gallery owner selected the artists based on merit. They had one studio visit with their chosen artist during their residency to provide further guidance and feedback.
